How we handle data.

Talenti Cycling collects and manages the personal data voluntarily provided by users (riders and teams) at sign-up and when filling in their profile.

Data processed

• Personal and sporting data: name, date of birth, gender, nationality, country and province of residence, category, rider type, height, weight, FTP, maximum heart rate, results, career, Strava link, photo.
• Contact data: email address.
• Team documents: federation affiliation certificate, used only for verification and visible only to platform administrators.
• Applications: motivation text and application status.
• Team management: roster (names, emails, category), calendar, call-ups and messages entered by the team.

Purposes

• Creating and managing profiles.
• Publishing openings and managing applications.
• Putting riders and teams in contact, on the team's initiative.
• Manual verification of registered teams.
• Team management tools (roster, calendar, messages) for verified teams.
• Service emails (account confirmation, new applications, application outcome, call-ups and messages from one's own team).
• Aggregate statistics on opening views.

Legal basis

Consent given at sign-up, revocable at any time by deleting the account. For roster data entered by a team, the team's legitimate interest in organising its sporting activity.

Who sees what

• Openings and verified team profiles are visible only to registered users (riders and teams).
• Rider profiles are visible only to verified teams: to all of them if the rider chooses a public profile; only to those they apply to if they choose a private profile.
• The rider's email is visible to verified teams if the profile is public, otherwise only to the teams the rider applies to.
• The team's institutional email is shared with the rider only when the team accepts the application.
• Roster data is visible only to the team that entered it and, for their own row, to the linked rider.
• No transfer to third parties. No profiling cookies: only technical cookies for authentication and language.

Retention and security

Data is kept until the user deletes the account, which can be done independently from their area. It is hosted on Supabase (servers in the European Union), acting as processor under art. 28 GDPR. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Service emails are sent through Resend.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure and portability can be exercised from your profile or by writing to info@talenticycling.com. Anyone added to a team's roster without an account can request removal at the same address.

Minors

Registration is reserved for riders in the Junior category or above, aged at least 15. We do not knowingly collect data from younger users: non-compliant accounts are removed as soon as reported.
