How it works

Three steps each. No middlemen.

Teams post what they're looking for, riders apply with a complete profile. Contact happens when the team decides to accept.

If you are a rider

  1. 01

Sign up and complete your profile

You need date of birth, category, rider type, country. Then weight, height, FTP, results and past teams: the more complete the profile, the more teams read it.

    • Minimum age 15, Junior category or above
    • Photo, bio and Strava link optional but recommended
    • You choose whether teams can find you
  2. 02

    Browse the openings

Openings are visible to registered riders and can be filtered by category, discipline, role, country and region. You only see those compatible with your category and gender.

    • Minimum requirements stated by the team
    • What's offered: equipment, expenses, calendar
    • Deadline and number of places
  3. 03

    Apply and follow the answer

One application per opening, with optional motivation. From your area you see the status: pending, under review, accepted or declined.

    • When accepted you get an email with the team's contact
    • You can withdraw an application at any time

Create a rider profile

If you represent a team

  1. 01

    Register the team

Name, category, institutional email and this year's federation affiliation document. Verification is manual and usually takes one or two days.

    • The document is visible only to the platform administrators
    • The institutional email is not shown to riders until you accept an application
  2. 02

    Post openings

One opening per profile wanted: category, role, gender, minimum requirements (age, FTP, W/kg), what you offer, deadline. Close and reopen whenever you want.

    • Openings are visible only to registered users
    • Editable at any time
  3. 03

Review applications and run the team

Every application comes with the full profile. Sort by W/kg, FTP, podiums or experience, take private notes, change the status. Then manage the roster by category, the race calendar with call-ups and messages to everyone.

    • Email notification for every new application
    • Access to public rider profiles even without an opening
    • Roster, calendar and messages included

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Talenti Cycling is an independent project, free for riders and teams, with no commission on agreements.
Who sees my rider data?
Only verified teams. If your profile is private, only the teams you apply to. If it's public, every verified team can find it in the Riders section.
Does Talenti act as an agent?
No. The platform connects the parties and does not take part in agreements. Every deal is between rider and team.
Can I sign up if I already have a team?
Yes. In your profile you can say you have a team but are open to offers, or that you're not looking. The profile is still useful as a showcase of your results.
Does it work outside Italy?
Yes. Teams and riders state their country; for Italy there are also region and province. The site is in Italian and English.
Which document does the team need?
The affiliation certificate from the national federation (FCI in Italy) for the current season, as a PDF. It's only used for the initial verification.
How do I delete my account?
From your area, at the bottom of the page. Deletion is immediate and removes profile, applications and uploaded data.
